This classic game is suitable for all ages and provides hours of social fun. The goal is to pick up sticks one by one without moving the ones that are left behind.
The game starts by holding all the sticks together vertically in a bundle with one end facing the ground/table. You then let go, leaving all the sticks in a pile on the table. Players take turns picking up one stick at a time without moving any of the others. You get points for each stick you pick up, with different points for different colors.
The game takes up little space and is perfect for taking on trips.
The game is also called "pick up sticks" and "timber vase".
